Bars In Muskegon - A Database of Muskegon Area Bars

Bars In Muskegon is a basic database of Muskegon area bars and nightclubs. A lot like the Restaurants In Muskegon site, this site was set up for experimental purposes, and as a way to promote a little more for the local area bars that I work for. Bars in Muskegon has listings of all of the local bars from the area, along with links to their websites and their Facebook feeds, if possible. (Did you know you can only use a Facebook feed widget if you have a fan page? Some of the area bars don't know that, that's for sure!!!)

This was a great little free Wordpress CMS that I used to set it up. It was set up initially in early 2011, and I recently went back over it (In 2012), added a lot more content and added a new skin to really set off the look. One thing that is nice is compiling the data for this site, forces me to look at all of the bar websites in the area. Much to learn there, both as what to do and what not to do.

I really plan on digging into this site in 2012 and adding a lot of features. The truth is I could take this far enough that really, no bar in Muskegon would need their own website, because I can post and profit from putting the information out there for them. The sky is the limit really. I've got great coverage on bars in Muskegon, live music in Muskegon and a couple of great sites featuring the festivals and beer tents in and around our area. So I should be able to grab a lot of the search related traffic in the area. Like I said, this is going to be a great year for 231 Graphics and all of my clients!!!
